About You

Our ideal candidate has 5-10 years experience in a Project Engineer or Project Lead position in the Process Industry. Your education is preferably a Master’s or PHD degree in chemical or mechanical engineering discipline. Your PEng certification is definitely an asset. You have extensive experience in design. You bring with you a wide range of project management skills. You have excellent knowledge of process simulation and design software as well as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, MS Project). You have practical experience sizing, designing and testing systems. You possess the ability to communicate effectively and work independently as well as strive in team

Your organizational skills relating to task management are exceptional. You have the ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.

In this role, you will be responsible as the project lead of the chemical and gas process development team. You must design and build code compliant gas generating and fuel cell power related systems, create bill of materials and possess the ability to detail design drawings. You will be responsible for implementing new technologies developed at Ionada. You will communicate technical details effectively with management, project leaders, production team members, suppliers and customers. You must plan for task execution, prepare initial designs and contribute to estimation of manpower and volume of work. Additionally, you will be involved with component sourcing, acquisition and testing.

Technical Skills

  • 5 years of chemical process engineering and systems design experience

  • 5 years experience in Project Management

  • 5 years of computer literacy
